1. What We Collect & Why
Phone or Email: You give this so we can send a login code and help you find friends’ wallets.
Name, Icon, Phone, Email: Other people can use this to find your public profile to send you ADA.
Public Wallet Info: Your wallet address shows on-chain and in-app, but only you hold the secret keys on your device.
Usage Data (Anonymous): Basic info like app version or crash reports to fix bugs and improve the app.
Notification Tokens: To send alerts when ADA arrives or transfers complete.
2. How We Use Data
- Login: Send one-time codes via Firebase Authentication.
- Find Friends: Securely match phone/email to wallet addresses; we store only what's needed for lookup, and we encrypt the phone and email addresses so they can only be confirmed.
- Send ADA: We help broadcast transactions on Cardano; your secret keys never leave your device.
- Notifications: Alert you of incoming ADA or important updates.
- Improve App: Use anonymous info to fix crashes and see which features are used.
3. Data Sharing
Service Providers Only: Firebase, hosting, SMS/email services—to send codes, notifications, run backend. They only see what's needed and keep it secure.
No Selling Data: We do not sell or share your info for marketing.
Legal Requests: Only if lawfully required (e.g., court order).
4. Data Storage & Deletion
Wallet Secrets: Never stored on our servers; only on your phone in secure storage.
Login Identifiers: Kept only while your account exists. If you delete your account, we remove related data within a short period.
Transaction Records: Stored locally for your history; server logs kept briefly for syncing/dispute resolution, then deleted per policy.
5. Security Measures
- Encryption: All connections use secure channels (HTTPS/TLS). Data at rest on servers is encrypted.
- Device Security: Wallet keys use OS secure storage (e.g., secure enclave).
- Regular Reviews: We test and review code to prevent leaks or bugs.
- Incident Response: We have procedures to handle any breach and notify users promptly.
6. Your Choices
- Delete Account: In-app option to delete your data.
- Disable Notifications: Turn off via device settings (you’ll miss alerts).
- Access or Change Data: Contact us at support@vendano.net.
7. Children
Not for users under 18. If we learn we collected data from a minor, we remove it.
8. Updates to Policy
We’ll update this page when things change. Check the “Last updated” date. We may notify in-app for big changes.
